The Nigeria launch of Uzodinma Iweala's novel, Beast of No Nation, held at the Nu Metro Media Stores in Victoria Island, Lagos recently. After the event, amidst the book signings, requests for photographs, a team of Farafina editors jostled with other journalists and succeeded in speaking with him for a couple of minutes. Iweala seems still to be wondering how a final year thesis in Harvard University turned into a first novel that is getting attention in the literary world.(continues here)
